Your body has an energy system that governs your feelings of joy. When you are having feelings of happiness or laughter your Radiant Circuits are active and sending healing energy anywhere in the body it is needed. Patch Adams saw laughter as being the best medicine you could give a sick person.
Sometimes we feel so sick or depressed that happiness or laughter is too far from our state of mind to even fake a smile. Here are a couple of simple exercise to start activating your Radiant Circuits to start the flow of joy through your energy system.
Activating Your Radiant (or Joy) Circuits:
1. Start in a kneeling position. Lean forward until your forehead is on the floor in front of you. You can turn your head to the side if it’s more comfortable. Let your hands and arms rest at your side stretching back toward your feet. Take a few deep breaths.
2. The Ming-Men point is located directly behind your belly-button on both sides of your backbone. Take your knuckles and push in on these points. You can rub them, “bounce” them, or simply hold them with your finger tips. This is the starting point of one of your main Radiant Circuits. By jump starting this circuit, it will help send joyous energy through your other radiant circuits through out your body.
